Walks & Summer Outings

Free Guided Walks - All Welcome

In conjunction with National Local History Month, the following walks took place in May 2005. Details of further walks will be announced when available.

Sunday 15 May : Four Ages of Northwood
Led by Simon Morgan
Meet at Green Lane Car Park, Northwood, at 2.00pm

Sunday 22 May : Ruislip & St Catherine's Manor
Led by Eileen Bowlt
Meet at Ruislip Library at 2.00pm

Sunday 29 May : Old Eastcote
Led by Karen Spink and Susan Toms
Meet at Eastcote House Gardens at 2.00pm

Summer Outings

Each year the Society arranges Summer Outings to places of interest, which in 2008 will be:

Saturday 3 May: Visit to Westminster Abbey
Meet at Westminster underground station near the booking office at 10.30am
Cost: £5.00

Saturday 14 June: Coach Tour to Lichfield
Depart Ruislip St Martins Approach Car Park at 8.15am
Cost: £16.50

Saturday 12 July: Coach Tour to Rochester
Depart Ruislip St Martins Approach Car Park at 8.15am
Cost: £16.50

Saturday 9 August: Visit to two Livery Halls
Meet at Guildhall Court Yard at 11.00am
Cost: £6.00

Thursday 4 September: Walking Tour - Westminster and St. James'
Meet at Westminster underground station near the booking office at 11.00am
Cost: £6.00
